This has been the coldest August in Upstate New York I’ve ever experienced.

No “dog days” at all. Mostly clear and cool. Clear chilly nights.

I’ve lived here 50 years.

We’ve had one week of what I’d call typical summer weather and the rest has been rain, rain, rain with below normal temps, sometimes well below normal. I’m in NC.

This has been one of the coolest and rainest summers here in GA that I have ever seen.

"This has been the coldest August in Upstate New York I’ve ever experienced."

By southern Louisiana standards, this has been a relatively mild summer as well.

I live in central New Jersey, the Atlantic Ocean is about ten miles due east of my backdoor. I began to get the feeling of a ‘’chill’’ toward the last few days of July and the beginning of this month. Told my wife we're in for a cold, snowy winter.
