Powell calls Martin verdict 'questionable'

The Trayvon Martin verdict showed “questionable judgment” on the part of Florida’s judicial system, Colin Powell said in an interview airing Sunday.

The former secretary of state and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said the acquittal of George Zimmerman, the white Florida man who shot and killed Martin, an unarmed black teenager, won’t be something with much lasting impact on the nation’s politics.

“I think that it will be seen as a questionable judgment on the part of the judicial system down there, but I don't know if it will have staying power,” Powell said on CBS's "Face the Nation." “These cases come along, and they blaze across the midnight sky and then after a period of time, they're forgotten.”

Powell said he would like to see President Barack Obama express more passion about race relations in America.

“I am beginning to wonder if Powell has always been a fraud.”

NO “wonder” about it! Just another affirmative action black who snuck his way to the top in the military. That this man was ever Secretary of State is as much a blight on this country as it was to have HIllary Clinton. buy his mouth you will come to “know him.”

Colin Powell: “I think all leaders, black and white, should speak out on this issue.”

If only white leaders would speak out honestly. Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are talking about the black on white crime wave. Let’s hear some truth from John McCain, Lindsay Graham, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Newt Gingrich, the Bush family, Karl Rove, etc. Until the “political correctness” noose is removed from white leaders there can be no honest dialog about race relations in America and the race baiters will continue to have their way.

When 3% of the nation’s population is responsible for 50% of the murders there is a problem and the problem isn’t mixed race neighborhood watch volunteers hunting down and killing minority youth.

Powell knows better than this. He has become little more than a “step and fetch it” man for the race pimps and democrats. I am really glad he has retired.

The Trayvon Martin verdict showed “questionable judgment” on the part of Florida’s judicial system, Colin Powell said in an interview airing Sunday.

You know, I once had respect for this guy...

Lampoon follows:

When questioned further Powell rattled off these other examples of questionable judgment, were the shooter was let off.

The liquor store owner, who was shot four times and pulled through anyway, but managed to get off what wound up being a fatal shot at one of the perps.

The police officer who was shot twice in the side, the bullet coming to rest less than an inch from his heart, and much less from major arteries, who wound up surviving, but managed to kill his assailant during the exchange.

The member of a military platoon who was wounded and fired off a fatal shot at the enemy, but also lived, and was acquitted by a military review board.  Lampoon ends.

Mr. Powell, our judicial system is set up to allow citizens the right of due process.  Once Trayvon Martin started inflicting what could have resulted in fatal damage to George Zimmerman, Zimmerman was within his rights to react with lethal force.

If you can't grasp this simple concept, it amazes me you conned enough people to gain the position in the military you rose to.  You were clearly unfit to hold that position.  Now all I can wonder is how many troops lives you cost us, if any.

There's the door.  If you're not happy here in this den of racial iniquity, leave.  I hear South Africa is in a state of perfection now.

Don't let the barn door hit ya where the good Lord split ya..., you ignorant ass.

I am beginning to wonder if Powell has always been a fraud.

You need wonder no longer, just apply a little logic. Powell is 'a Rhodes scholar'. Have you any inkling of what that actually signifies? He, a minority, took a blatant racist's money, in what was a blatantly racist legacy program.

Many folks thought to vote for Powell for high office, but his participation in the Rhodes scholarships, effectively excluded him to any person who was really willing to think about it. I wouldn't vote for a 'Rhodes scholar' for dogcatcher, let alone anything with any real power...

LIBs are always challenging things they don’t like, even if it is law.

Yet, no one is allowed to question DeathCare because it is the law.

Bat Guano calls Powell Questionable!

He is a washed up appointee, needing to go on the Sunday Talk shows to keep his irrelevancy alive and well. The Zimmerman jury corrected a wrong, put on the public by a stupid state attorney, by finding him not guilty. The state never had a case and embarrassed Florida by bringing GZ to trial.

Col. Colon Powell, as named by Rita X of Detroit, and who am I to correct her, made his career by telling the liberal media what it wanted to hear. They in turn built Powell into a giant American legend. The man has become a zero. He's a waste of oxygen. He is a man with zero principles. He gets lead around by the nose by the leftist in this country.

Any group, who pays his speaking fee, is a fool and an enabler.
