City police arrested two residents for prostitution after the john allegedly tried to pay for sex with $1, according to authorities.
Pablo L. Miranda, 24, of Walnut Street, flagged down police Wednesday at 12:28 a.m., reporting that a woman burglarized his home. He found her searching through his room after pushing an air conditioning unit through his window, police said.
During the investigation, authorities located a suspect matching his description, Magaly Maduro, 35, of Pearl Street, who told a different story.
According to Maduro’s statement to police, Miranda allegedly called her to his house for sex in exchange for money.
After completing the sex act, according to police, Miranda told Maduro that he could only pay her $1 for her services.
Authorities said that Maduro became angry and began searching the room for additional money and, upon being ordered out of the house, pushed an air conditioning unit out of a window out of anger.
