I clear my temporary files all the time and never have any tracking of this nature. My friends with apple equipment cannot do this.
I decided not to clear those files.

My file history re where I was on the internet are erased whenever I log off. After some intensive shopping or product looking for, I will log off as soon as I finish.
I still get unsolicited ads from Data Mining for weeks.
