And if they sign Savage (the quintessential stopped clock who is right twice a day) they’ll just be nailing their own coffin.
Here is my Prediction....
Hannity will move to the Blaze and be “Un-Chained”....
They already have Savage. They’d just be changing his timeslot from 9-midnight Eastern to 3-6 Eastern.
Rush and Sean are syndicated by Clear Channel (or affiliates thereof) and appear on about 40 Cumulus stations (big ones, though — WABC, WLS, WMAL, WJR, WBAP, and others). Clear Channel will find Sean other affiliates in those markets (Rush too) if Cumulus dumps them. (WOR in New York is said to be eager to pick them up.)
Cumulus already syndicates Mark Levin and Michael Savage. If their stations dump or lose Sean Hannity, they will need programming for that timeslot. So their plan, apparently,, is to mvoe Savage into the Hannity timeslot.
