waiting to hear the rest of this story...
some 16 yr. old girls are not as innocent as we would want them to be. I hope I am wrong, but something is bothering me about this.
I say again, I hope I am wrong, and that this girl is innocent - not mad at her mother for trying to set rules, fed up with her little brother for “telling on her”, etc..
Not going to rush to any conclusions, because I could be so very wrong.
Even if she was “lolita” re-incarnated, no excuse for the “family friend” to take advantage, kill the mother, and little boy.
It would never be reported.
I believe it was reported earlier this week that she had told one of her friends his behavior was “creepy”
Yup...those are considerations...doesn’t sound like it in this case..but stranger things have happened.
I agree. I am so hoping she is totally innocent. I think I have heard of too many young people who are not. I cannot imagine the guilt if she had anything to do with it. She will be traumatized, regardless.
I pray the family is able to get through this.
Those stories usually involve a handsome “bad boy” boyfriend in his 20s whom the parents have forbidden the daughter to spend time with- not a scruffy 40 year old loser friend of dad’s.
The girl had told her friends that the family friend was coming on to her and it was creeping her out.
No 16 year old girl has control of a grown man. Ever.
Amazing. As usual on FR, somebody comes out defending the creep.
For one thing, nothing gives him the right to act this way. And for another, he was a family friend and she had actually told other people that she didn’t want to be around him because he kept saying creepy things to her. But because he was friends with other family members, they ignored this.
Yes. And with the only other person who knows having been offed, we’ll never know for sure.
Bad enough to lose your family, but to also have a cloud of suspicion that can never be fully lifted?

I agree with you, however your jumping to the conclusion that it was he and not the 16 YO that killed the family.

I suggest you look up the "Stockholm syndrome" and study forms of psychological manipulation of sexual abuse victims. The girl's actions mean nothing. The fellow taking the dirt nap should carry all the blame, suspicion and accusations to his meeting with Old Scratch.
this is a young girl groomed by this maniac for all these years...."family friend" and called "uncle" by the kids....
poor girl now faces life without her mom nor her brother....
He killed her family
Doesn’t sound like a young girl runs off with the guy scenario
16 is a bit old for Lolita
Wow... that is quite a stretch. Ugly ass idiot takes young beautiful girl and kills her family and somehow she is to blame??? WTH!
Where do you come off saying she was mad at her brother or her mother... what a heartless post!
