PEMBROKE PINES (CBS4) – The security video shows a 14 year-old mental patient being escorted down a hallway when a Pembroke Pines police officer reaches in and grabs the girl. The girl whirls and swats at the officer, and he proceeds to punch her in the face. The officer’s blow to the mentally disturbed teen snapped her head back, and appeared to be delivered with full force. Other officers join in, wrestling the girl to the ground and spraying her with Mace.

We also have a problem with the Lakeland Florida police dept. having sex on duty,,, In the jail building, in the court house,with each other and people in custody and the media is doing a good job covering it.BUT, the police chief(a woman)
hasn’t fired anyone as of yet. This has been going on for months.
The police were called because of an “out of control” riot at the facility. The news claims the girl was being escorted, but that’s not clear from the video. It’s possible that the facility employee was trying to apprehend her. Don’t count on getting the truth from a Miami news station. They are the same people who misrepresented the case against George Zimmerman.
The saddest part is that they will die from the cancer it causes. Sometimes I think that police think that all of us sell dope and steal. I still support the police but I will speak out against them when they are wrong... and they are wrong more and more in America today.

The sense in which they are paying, is that they are dealing with a bunch of demonic opposition that their forebears attracted. The GREAT news is that God never quit being God. At the glad risk of sounding like a little child (which is the way we should come to the Lord anyhow)... just give that Lion of Judah a big ole hug... He’ll kiss and make up and then toss us into the battle to fight through this junk. View it as an opportunity... and we will be blessed.
My dog carries an AR15 and a 9mm Springfield XDS (he doesn’t like my Kimber .45). I am having trouble getting him to seat primers properly when we reload! ;-)

Thanks... great perspective. I just hate the suffering of the innocents along the way.
The hardest thing is often fighting through our own contrary moods. And there it proves out like in the “Footsteps” murals. Our moods will pin us down and we will feel absolutely helpless. But God then modulates the circumstances to let enough light in for us to regain courage.
I’ve been through something like the West Point of such emotional drills. It was NOT pleasant believe me. Courage? What courage? Well except where the Lord let it in. The grace WAS sufficient... I graduated... and now I am feeling ferocious for God’s blessings. God rewards what you invest. Even if you didn’t know what you were investing at the time. I now know what it means when the Lord comforted Judah and said he had received double for all their sins... that means that the grace they had squandered was being restored TWICE... that is a big in-your-face to Satan if you ever saw one! AND GOD CAN DO THIS THROUGH AMERICA AS WELL... ARE WE WILLING TO BE BLESSINGS AGAIN???
As for the innocents... that is distressing, no if’s, and’s, or but’s about it. If anything cries out for an answer, it is that.
The key is a God of infinite grace. Satan has drilled a terrible hole in the boat. When we just come back to the Lord in love, and this goes for all souls, God won’t just plug the hole. God will cover it with gold coins for us to pick up. IT IS THAT SIMPLE... now I never said the task will be EASY. But we will set to the task more and more willingly. Some might call that earning a salvation, but I might more accurately describe it as a labor of willing love. The salvation itself is free. Doing the work that results is MORE than rewarded so if anything it does not cost, it pays!
The question of “well then, shouldn’t we sin more to get more superabounding grace” can occur here. For a restored soul the answer is like what, are you crazy? I love God too much to want to do that any more!

No, our town has plenty of money. It’s just that the “professional town runners” we have hired seem to have been consistently able to convince the town councils for all the time we’ve been incorporated that having the sheriff run our PD is a good deal economically. The next town down the valley initially did the same thing. But more recently, they replaced the sheriff with their own PD for the very reasons that it would make perfect sense for us to do it too. Namely, their PD being staffed by those who actually live here.
