FOXNEWS SCHEDULE SHAKEUP: MEGYN IN AT 9 PM Thu Aug 08 2013 11:56:26 ET
**Exclusive**
FOXNEWS is set to make its first primetime schedule change in 10 years, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Superstar newswoman Megyn Kelly has landed the 9 PM slot, top sources reveal.
The shock announcement is set for later this month.
"It's all about Megyn," an insider explains. "She is the new face of cable news. She has it all!"

Clearly he's the wrinkly old posterior of cable news!
I agree. I think she also has a way of taking a stand against things that would appeal to any remaining Reagan democrats that may be watching. She has the ability to cut through the politics and hence peel off old time liberal dems to the truth that their party has moved so far left, that they have become a communist/Marxist party.
It's 2 o'clock in the AM and this is Perspectives. Looks like we still don't have any callers...

I like Hannity but his show is tedious. Maybe MK will be on Foxy Business and the can bring in Jenna Lee.
I think your second scenario is more likely; Hannity re-upped with Fox within the last year and so did Greta. Both are guaranteed evening timeslots. Don’t see Roger Ailes letting either of them out of their contracts, simply because they might bring more viewers to CNN.
Megyn Kelly’s promotion is really about the next 8 pm host on FNC. By moving her to 9 pm, she’s being groomed for O’Reilly’s slot when he retires.
And who knows? Bill O may decided to hang it up in the next few years. He’s going through a an expensive divorce (but his wife was caught cheating, so that and the pre-nup may limit his financial exposure); he’s climbed the mountain in cable news and knows he’ll never get a similar opportunity on a broadcast net. He’s a millionaire many times over, so he may decide to go out on top in the next 3-5 years.
I think Megyn will be successful at 9 pm, but Mr. Ailes will be watching her ratings carefully before annointing her as O’Reilly’s successor. One thing is certain: Sean has forever lost his shot at the 8 pm slot; getting rid of Alan Colmes and giving him a solo program was something of a trial run for Hannity as a potential replacement for O’Reilly. Roger Ailes has clearly determined that Sean will never be ready for the 8 o’clock time slot.
The wild card in all of this is still Glenn Beck. People forget that when he left Fox News, Beck took along one of Roger Ailes’s senior VPs (Joel Cheatwood). His primary job has been described as liaision between Beck’s company and FNC. Fox supposedly has options on future projects developed by Beck and his company. If Megyn falters, you may see Fox developing a much closer partnership with Beck. On the other hand, Glenn’s own channel appears to be doing very well; he reportedly made $77 million last year, so there’s no real financial reason for him to return to FNC.
Yep.
Kelly has always been a Trojan Horse pseudo-liberal.
My wish list, Shepherd gets fired and Rove gets the Morris treatment.
If Beck would be willing to hire him. Which I think he would
I say move “Red Eye” up to 11 Eastern. I think they have been testing this time slot on Saturdays. A little competition for Letterman and the guy who replaces Leno.
They won’t. He’s already had the chance
To sell out and turned it down...
Hannity is a bumper sticker conservative.
I don’t hate Montana. Better in Massachusetts.
YES PLEASE!!
Or Vermont LOL
Maybe Hannity will take all the Rino guest, like Rove, And Uncle Bob Bennett with him when he goes.
There’s a new regime at CNN. Zucker has been recruiting her since he took over.
They wont. Hes already had the chance
To sell out and turned it down...
Just because they haven;t sold out yet, doesn’t mean they won’t get him to eventually...
Progressives are damn tenacious...
Pray for the Blaze
Oh I pray for Glenn and the Blaze daily.
He asks that of us. But I do think it’s great
People have already tried and he turned them down.
It also speaks to how he scares the hell out of them...
I don’t think that he could get he program ready since he is on air until 6 EST...
Shep wouldn't last 30 seconds in Butte.
