Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) made his clearest indication yet that he would be fine with a piecemeal approach to immigration reform preferred by the Republican-led House.
Schumer, the leader of the Gang of Eight whose comprehensive immigration reform legislation passed the Senate in June, said even if the House passes separate bills, those measures could eventually be bundled in a House-Senate conference committee.

Schumck is a pig of the highest order. Rape Murder Mayhem. Evil upon evil. Yet he is re-elected time and time again. Or as Forrest would say "Stupid is as Stupid does"! How the human excrement gets elected is a mystery of the universe like some of the others that are elected. Sheila, Rangel, etc.

It’s a trick. The plan is to get ANYTHING to pass both houses and then gut it and replace it with amnesty in conference.

Funny, I’d be OK with Chucky baby being piecemeal too.
The only problem is finding some animal or bacteria with standards low enough to consume him (or it?)

That's because he knows as well Michelle Bachman does that if the House brings out anything at all, the Senate will just combine what it likes, however little that may be, of the House plan with the Senate plan and push out of the machine, the sausage they wanted all along, anyway. So of course he can say something like this, as long as the House puts out something, anything. He would get really intransigent if the House showed they meant business by bringing out nothing,

Dems thought they would be WAAAAY ahead in polls on this issue.
Guess what...they can't get traction. And what's more...the longer the issue twists in the wind the more people side with the GOP which isn't looking good for election '14.
Dems can't seem to grab onto a message that resonates with the public anywhere these days.

said even if the House passes separate bills, those measures could eventually be bundled in a House-Senate conference committee. He had better be prepared to wait a long time between bills. When the first bill out of the house is the "Dream Act" bundled with border enforcement and/or e-verify he'll vote for it alone.

It's the "bundled in a House-Senate conference committee" that is where the dems will get the pussyfooting poofter GOP cowards to capitulate. Probably behind closed doors.
Amnesty now GOP buddies, then we will seal the border...lying bastard dems, but the GOPe will lap it up.
Raping, pillaging, murdering insurgent criminal foriegners that have no legal right to be here will be even freer to drive drunk and kill that way as well as with guns, knives etc and rape without fear of reprisal. That would be racist.

Called my congressman’s DC offlice today to report what Schumer said and tell him DON’t make Schumer happy because it will make us unhappy!
I was looking for a post by SickofLibs (but couldn’t find it) suggesting that the amnesty traitors are running out of time. That might explain Schumer’s new “approach.”
In any case, we need to keep reminding GOP congressmen that they are there to serve us, not Schumer and company.

Can't the GOP pass a bill, totally unrelated to any Senate bill, to build a border fence, and call that piece one? Say to Schumer, here get this through the Senate and we'll talk? Call his bluff, so to speak.
To: Southern by Grace
Well, I guess I can take the worm off my tongue and quit waiting with baited breath about what Schumer thinks.

Dems thought they would be WAAAAY ahead in polls on this issue. Guess what...they can't get traction. And what's more...the longer the issue twists in the wind the more people side with the GOP which isn't looking good for Dems chances in '14. Dems can't seem to grab onto a message that resonates with the public anywhere these days. Nice take---music to my ears. 2014 is looming large and the Dems are getting more desperate.
Rush brought up a significant point on Greta Sunday night. "2010 midterms was one of the biggest shellackings the Democrat Party had had in a long time. Republicans took back the House....Democrats lost a total, nationwide, all the way down the ballot of over 600 seats, and it was because of Obamacare and the rising debt......and the Tea Party showing up...."
=================================================
MY CONCLUSIONS I do not want to defend Boehner, Ryan and that crowd---but you can see that, in Obama, they're up against a seasoned, practiced conman. I gather some of the Repubs are onto him---could explain slow-walking Imig/reform, and so on.
Obama and the Dems are really desperate---they hafta win back the House in 2014 and keep the Senate. They cannot risk another 2010---as the scandals against Obama mount.
So cool con artist Obama poses as the "Good Guy"----trying not to "overreach"---separated from the "phony" scandals---appearing as a genial, cool, love-America guy----to save 2014, to protect the American people from those "evil Repubs."
OTOH, Repubs know they better not overreach, as well. A lot of the political kabuki theatre we are seeing could be each side baiting the other to overreach.......to me, it explains Schumer's latest nonsensical move.

P.S. If Chuckie is really being sincere, then let the Senate pass enforcement only and fence only bills and send them to the House. If they are on the up and up, let the House pass them without changes and no conference committee will be needed.
