On Wednesdays Your World with Neil Cavuto, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa reacted to criticisms from conservative talk show host Mark Levin had made on the same program just 24 hours earlier.
In that appearance, Levin suggested the House Republican leadership wasnt doing its due diligence in investigating the scandals involving the Obama administration, including the Benghazi terrorist attacks and the targeted audits of the Internal Revenue Service.
Issa explained to Cavuto that his investigators and his committee were doing its best to connect all the dots, but have been thwarted along the way by the White House and its various cabinet departments.

I named him Issawus in Lost in Zombieland: The Rise of President Zero.
He’s had five years to enforce the laws and bring these people to justice. In five years he’s done exactly nothing. I believe it’s because he doesn’t want to.
The IRS scandal alone should have brought government to a halt.
I agree with Rush. The problem is that there is no entity to fairly prosecute this. Justice is totally compromised by Holder. The Independent Counsel Statute expired years ago.
Does anyone think a “Select Committee” would do anything? The ONLY way that would even be established if for it to be evenly split between Dems and Repubs. That is a non starter.
Who does it?
And given to whom? The DOJ? Nothing will happen. Nobody will stop Obama and I just can’t figure out why.
no arrests
no charges
no subpoenas
no resignations
pretty much pointless. he’s in place to make it SEEM like there’s consequences to breaking the law
but there really isn’t of you break the law while democrat
It’s easy to sit back and criticize, isn’t it?
The justice department has been too politicized anyway.
The justice department was never intended to be the president’s personal prosecutor/defense attorney. It should be completely independent of the white house and beholden only to the constitution whether the AG likes it or not. People are angry that the Michigan AG is “siding” with the unions in the Detroit bankruptcy but the state constitution is clear and he will defend it despite openly disliking the amendment. I personally respect him a great deal for defending the clause he so strongly opposes.
Then they’re even more unfit for Congress.
bump
They don’t care.
What they do care about are themselves, and their own holds on power.
Term limits would help fix that, which is why we the people can’t get them enacted, absent another ... large scale incident.
From the article:
Ive got complete support of the leader and the speaker, he added. They have helped me all along the way.
Issa appears as not much more than a common thug. He is of questionable background and character. He is think skinned and a grand stander.
He put people at serious personal risk in the fast and furious hearings last year and left them dangling.
From the article:
Delay. stall, delay, stall, rinse, repeat....
They won’t do anything in time to catch anyone and I think we all know every one of these scandals goes all the way to the top.
We have a criminal gang in the white house.
issa dis not respond... he spewed a bunch of rhetoric and then started lying about what he has accomplished. Mark was right and Issa is wrong and I heard it all on Mark’s show minutes ago! issa is just one more rino that needs to be retired.
To Everyone: Does anyone really think there will ever be an investigation...nothing will ever come of any of these scandals except talk. And we are the ones to blame — we keep putting these idiots in washington
Issa screwed up these investigations about as bad as anyone possibly could. Sad.
Essentially, “Well, how can we investigate unless those we are investigating are willing to be investigated?”
Yeah, you just gave up your 1/3 of the branch of the government.
Roberts did the other 1/3 earlier this year.
We are screwed.
Sorry forefathers. You assumed that 2/3 of the branches of the government actually had balls. And how sad that the weeniest of all leaders of all branches had the least, but was brattiest enough to stand up to the ballless wonders.
Seems to me he’s admitting Mark is right but making excuses for it.
How's that Banana Republic com'in along.
That’s exactly what he’s doing.
