500 Egyptian pounds = $71.40 US. This guy who “fled the fighting in” Syria and came “with his family to Cairo” must have decided there was more profit in killing Egyptians than in killing Syrians. I can see why Obama is sending our money to these people, but aren’t there any decent people in the federal government who can stop this?

Not surprised. Radical mooselimbs are used to being able to manipulate the compliant US media and figure they will get sympathetic coverage and thus turn the US opinion to their side (seeing as how our "news" media never give us the full coverage... of anything!).
I wonder if the lamestream press will even mention that the MB deliberately wanted people shot to drive public opinion.

Just to be clear, “anti-government” demonstrators means the anti-Muslim Brotherhood and pro-Egyptian military masses in the streets. In other words, the MB regime was/is paying foreign gunmen (Syrian and Palestinian) to shoot Egyptian citizens. With the military apprised we’ll see how their bird shot does against kalashnikov’s and tanks.
