There is something that feeds peace into the soul of a man when he watches a Lady prepare food for him. And if she has the sort of voice Ina has, and/or the looks and presence Nigella has, well, more’s the impact.
For being a flamin’ Lib, Kimmel knows how handle himself so that most the time you would never know which way he swings politically. Love it when he has young children on like the little toddler who could really shoot some hoops, or the 3 year boy who knew all the presidents and could recite the Gettysburg address. The comments from “average” Kimmel are quite endearing. And yes, his hispanic sidekick is hilarious - he just seems so happy all the time, quite refreshing.

Come to think of it, Jeffrey does look exceedingly happy when he comes into the kitchen to see what Ina has made for him. But, you are saying that you actually enjoy watching the preparation process....good to know ;o)

My son does most of the food prep in his household. He really likes to cook. He had the kitchen fashioned to his liking when he had their house built. His wife is a great cook in her own right. Her baking is professional grade ... well, about anything she does is as close to perfection as she can get it. I cook as a hobby.
I enjoy food prep, and of course I prefer to prepare my food rather than go to a fast food or other restaurant to obtain meals.
Oddly, my roommate doesn't like people food. She's a little tuxedo cat, and although she is always dressed to the nines, she prefers simple Catchow or an occasional bowl of the liquid from a tuna can or canned chicken left when I do food prep.
