Really? Don Lemon, the guy who compared traditional marriage supporters to 1950s era racists? That’s surprising to me.
Lemon is a gay man so he likely feels particularly emotional on the gay marriage issue.
Interestingly, it's probably also Lemon's homosexuality that makes him detest the gangsta culture more than other black guys. Gay black guys are generally far more preppy than their straight brethren, and the gangsta culture is generally anti-gay.
Whatever the reasons for Lemon's recent comments, good for him.
