One of the most moving parts of Fidelio is the Prisoners Chorus. Imagine being imprisoned far too long and getting the rare chance to see light and breathe fresh air. Choristers at the Met have to have more than just fine voices. They have to be superb actors.
Have some tissues ready for this.
