A husband and wife canceled a news conference in which they had planned to talk about how George Zimmerman assisted them after their SUV flipped over on a Florida highway.
Mark and Dana Gerstle had planned to speak Wednesday afternoon at the Orlando law office of Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara.

Assuming they are concerned about their safety, don’t blame them. Just another compelling example why GZ consciously or subconsciously profiled TM, why people lock their car doors.

Think of our heroes, the ones we emulate, the ones we model...
..they ran toward danger...
and many, if not most, had children, wives.
Thugs have always been with us.....
..and so, thankfully have our heroes....defenders of the faith.
A man's got to know his limitations. It's one thing to stop a criminal one-on-one when the thug is just trying to take your jewelery or big screen TV. It's entirely different to stand up to hundreds or thousands of criminals who may put a whoop ass on your kids, when you're not around, simply because you chose to tell the truth about someone who has become a symbol of individual rights, which the left hates.
One of the better posts I've seen on the Zimmerman events said GZ's biggest mistake was leaving the truck and getting into a situation where he might have to fight, when he's not a fighter. Not that it was illegal, immoral, or the wrong move in general, just that it was a mistake for GZ. It may be the same here - standing up to a mob consisting of several million street thugs is not for everyone.
