But if there is a big direct conflict shaping up between Iraq and the Iraqi Kurd Peshmurga Iraq probably won’t want to see more Kurds, and the Syrian Kurds might be jumping from the pan into the fire so maybe they think it is best to sit tight.

Ive been down this road before but many younger people may not recognize the scenery. The Cold War puppet-masters are at work again. What the hell is Americas vital interest in Syria? I feel sorry for the victims of that conflict but its not our job to save the world.
