I was a great fan of West -even forgave some of his votes until this mess. He was unable or unwilling to learn the FACTS of the GZ case before spouting off.
He was uninformed and he made a bad situation worse. The worst part is he never publicly corrected himself. .he just sort of changed his opinion without explanation.
I’ll still cheer for things he says that I believe in ..but I no longer trust him.
So Obama is acknowledging that he was a drug addled street thug 40 years ago. Tell me something I didn’t know.

West’s initial comments on the Zimmerman case were deceptively edited to present them in the worst possible light. His full statement was fully qualified as to his uncertainties regarding news reports. It reads quite differently from the edited version and was very reasonable.
