Part Four: Extra Credit Write from memory the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
This quiz counts as 1/3 of their final grade for the Patriotism Badge. Another part consists of demonstrating proper respect and protocol when raising, lowering and displaying the flag as well as folding it for storage. The final is a 100 word essay on two American Patriots. Most of the boys have chosen various founding fathers and presidents, however one of the guys who graduates this year has chosen his big brother who serves in Afghanistan as one of his heroes. I’m proud of dem boys.
