The media has focuses heavily on the fact that Treyvon purchased Skittles at 7-11 before his confrontation with Zimmerman, but they fail to mention he was also buying Arizona Fruit Juice, both of which are ingredients commonly used to create a home-made drug called “Sizzurp” or “Lean”. Trayvon, with his hoodie up, grabs two items from the shelves of 7-11. One is the Skittles. The other is Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail. The media avoid the name of the real drink — possibly because of the racial implications of the word “watermelon,” but possibly to avoid probing the real reason for Trayon’s trip.
Trayvon, in fact, had become a devotee of the druggy concoction known as “Lean,” also known in southern hip-hop culture as “Sizzurp” and “Purple Drank.” Lean consists of three basic ingredients — codeine, a soft drink, and candy. If his Facebook postings are to be believed, Trayvon had been using Lean since at least June 2011.
The media tells us over and over again that Treyvon was just a child out getting Skittles, and on his way home to watch some cartoons like other young children do. Is it possible they were lying to us?

I saw a police photo of a yellow body bag with a can of Arizona, Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail sitting on top of it.
I saw Trayvon’s internet posts about making this drug.
I know that Trayvon was a marijuana smoker.
I think that’s more like evidence.
Trayvon’s liver was damaged in a way consistent with Dextromethorphan use. Something, considering St. Skittles was a child of only 17 to already have liver damage.

I just want, somehow, to appeal to all of us not to let this event crowd out the bigger concerns for all Americans, such as the potential gigantic corruption, beyond belief, which might be shaping up at the IRS. We are supposed to hear some big news on that front today. In my opinion, the real tragedy of that lies in uncovering the number of commonplace taxpayers who dared to support the Tea Party with a little donation or Republican candidates with a little donation, who have been fingered by the IRS and unfairly and falsely pursued in a scary and intimidating way. I believe it is a big story waiting to be uncovered and told. I believe Americans, both liberal and conservative, should be very frightened by all this. I hope all FR posters will pay attention.

That is my understanding as well, but I have seen some others dispute that claim. Since I am not a lawyer, I merely submit an argument that in the event a civil claim IS allowed to proceed, this would help bolster the defense case.
Nick, if you read the texts up above, he specifically talks about making “lean”. So it is not tying to make him “evil” by pointing out that he had 2 of the necessary ingredients for making that concoction in his possession that night.
