The CDC has quickly removed a page from their website, which is now cached here, admitting that more than 98 million Americans received one or more doses of polio vaccine within an 8-year span when a proportion of the vaccine was contaminated with a cancer causing polyomavirus called SV40. It has been estimated that 10-30 million Americans could have received an SV40 contaminated dose of the vaccine.

He’s a neurologist. You are on something, are you paid to deny the truths? I don’t need a degree to exercise common sense.
Pre vaccine era.
You don’t have truth, you have “Pravda”.
I don’t mind people believing what they want null, it’s just when they try to take others with them without even looking at facts, it gets worrisome. A lot of people said Islam was the religion of peace, look how that’s working out. We shall see how this does too. In the meantime, I’ll keep my healthy self and kids away from the fear mongering vaccination folks.

The bad news==I could get cancer.

I was 6 years old and everybody in the community, adults and all, came to the school. I was just doing what my parents told me to do and did themselves.
As an aside, along about that era, I knew a guy who played small college basketball. He played a game one night, came home, contracted polio, and never walked again in his life. Was almost quadraplegic, but he did have extremely limited use of his hands. He could not even pick up his arms on his own strength.
Lost my sister to leukemia in 2011. She was born in 57.
The smallpox inoculation was memorial.
It was not a simple injection, but many punctures similar to a tattoo procedure.
Hurt like hell. Not a baby in the world would have been tough enough not to howl.
Pretty memorial childhood memory to say the least.
Let me tell you. During that time just about everything we did that was not good for us was going to cause polio. From drinking out of the hose to touching and playing with pollywogs everything caused it. When they gave us a shot or a sugar cube to guarantee we could drink from the hose it was damn memorable.
Excuse my French...but horseshit.
Try living in the South in the summer of 1952.
I had two childhood friends affected. One in an Iron Lung and another with her leg braces and crutches. Many years later I saw her without her braces or crutches. Don't know if surgery or therapy did the deed.
I wore my scar with pride and would show off my upper arm to any and all.
I would appreciate it if you would cite your source for that information. I don’t believe it.
Cancer virus? I thought cancer was undiffentiated cells growing out of control. What does a virus have to do with that?
