“artist” Akon assumes we’ll beg him and the likes of Whitney Houston and Maya Angelou to stay and continue enriching American culture.

Cab Calloway, Bo Diddley, James Brown, Redd Foxx, George Herriman, and Rudy Ray Moore are gone.

If there is talent lurking in today's black entertainment community, it is hidden from public view.

There is but they aren't involved in pop music. You will find them in Jazz and Blues mostly Though there are goodly many in Alternative music.

A couple that come to mind are Buddy Guy and B.B. King. They are still picking 'em up and laying 'em down and have more talent in their little fingers than this musician wannabe crap artist AKon has in his whole family!

Kanye west and the like are no competition for such as these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8yGGtVKrD8.

Note however that the the Nicholas brothers and Cab Calloway were mixed race, they appear to be at least half caucasian, certainly not “Black”. Many of the musicians in this video appear to be half white or half black, whichever way you want to say it. I am willing to allow black people to claim that Cab Calloway got all his talent from his black heritage but tell me, what happened since then?
