"If there is talent lurking in today's black entertainment community, it is hidden from public view."

There is but they aren't involved in pop music. You will find them in Jazz and Blues mostly Though there are goodly many in Alternative music.

A couple that come to mind are Buddy Guy and B.B. King. They are still picking 'em up and laying 'em down and have more talent in their little fingers than this musician wannabe crap artist AKon has in his whole family!

Actually there is talent among some contemporary black entertainers. Just as there is talent among some contemporary white entertainers and those of other skin colors/heritage.

But the talented ones (regardless of sex or color) are hidden from public view by Big Media. #1 way to get ahead and stay in the public eye these days is to tow the liberal line.

Beat up on Sarah Palin and Zimmerman on your Twitter feeds and you'll get gushing news mentions.

Publicly support them and you'll likely find yourself blacklisted.

Tom Arnold even got mentioned among the celebs responding to the verdict on Twitter. Tom Arnold, who's he? Some crew member of an old tv show who ended up marrying the star and then getting divorced? Aren't his 15 minutes up yet?

But no, Hollywood of today sells celebrities (and thus movies are celebrity vehicles like the new Johnny Depp as Tonto movie). Remember the 80s? Or 90s? Or The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street Album from back around 1972? Then YOU are a “credible” authority to appear on camera and reminisce about what these things meant to YOU, popular liberal elite celeb.

Unplug from cable. Unsubscribe from Time-Warner/Viacom/Disney's publishing arms.

All that you'll find there is noise to convince you that these are the best/brightest/most relevant/most popular things going on in the world (not only now but) EVER. Of course, those same companies that publish the magazines, own the networks, and own radio stations, own the movie studios who's songs you hear in the background, and own the labels.

Entertainment is a closed shop these days.
