The family already settled a wrongful death suit with the homeowners association for an undisclosed amount, and the mother got 8 months leave with pay after the shooting. I hope they end up losing their shirts if they pursue in the civil courts.
Women are brave and serious.

Good decision by the jury. After the Casey Anthony debacle I wasn’t holding out much hope re: Florida juries but this case against GZ was so weak. These six women did the right thing. I hope some of the men here who said things like a six woman jury would convict because they are either stupid or overly emotional to reason the facts in the case are eating their words now.
Now I hope that GZ and his family and the jurors have a get the hell out of town plan.
I think it'll take a bulldozer to get her away from that camera. They shouldn't even be there rehashing and trying to rejustify their assumptions and charges.
Don’t forget the lawsuit against CNN for broadcasting Zimmermans social security number.
And he is going to win that one big time.
