I’m not convinced Nelson is corrupt like many here are. She’s probably usually a hanging judge anyhow and some of her rulings have reflected that. She’s also made some good rulings in this case. I also think she is under enormous pressure from powers that be. Jmho

I donated a lot of money to folks I didn't support because it was needed for cover.

These guys live in a complex world...I wouldn't begin to know how to translate the meaning of it.

That's local and state politics.

I did it on a national level but only because my boss said it was necessary for one reason or another.

Do I agree with it? H$ll no!

But I did it because it was part of the frikken bargain.

BTW, I eventually pulled out of that bargain because of its compromises of character and ethics (however blurry and gray).

I chose to line up behind the Cross (for better or worse). It has been much worse in the ways of the world...but the only way the Cross permits.
