Casey Anthony had multiple charges the jury had to go through and a lot more evidence as her trial lasted over a month.
Also there were twelve people who had to agree not just six. That was, all things considered, a very fast verdict. I knew these passive sell out white females would never get a fight turned to self defense between two males. The defense team needs its ass kicked for not having at least TWO over 35 males on this jury.
I sense a manslaughter conviction.

I got banned from the local weekly leftist rag for pointing out that they’re only about 13% or so of the population and stating I hope they do riot.
That was the plan, don't you think? The State had no case, so they had to trick the Defense somehow. Let Defense believe in LAW, and that if the court and prosecution agreed to stick to the one charge, that means they would do so.
Then, when you spring it on them, there is nothing they can do about it.

Not for withholding it from the trial because it wasn't admitted as evidence anyway, and because if he's acquitted he will have suffered no harm. If he's convicted it could be grounds for appeal.

I think that giving the jury a choice, as in this case (I’m not talking about recipes this time) is a nasty trick.

I think our greater danger is the manslaughter issue. It carries a very heavy term.
Hung jury means they try him again and they usually win the second time.
It has to be total acquittal to celebrate.
I don’t see #2 ever in Zimmerman’s future. O has gotten all the mileage from this that he has needed.
