Toss a pork shoulder in the crock pot Can you get that internal temp to 190 in a crock pot? Ya gotta get it that hot to dissolve the collagen that makes it very tender.

It must. I have used this recipe for pot lucks and family get togethers for years...and it gets rave reviews, and no one ever got food poisoning ;-)
