I pray for a fair and just verdict. My support and thoughts go out to the Zimmerman family and the defense team as we wait.

I don’t think they discounted self-defense either. They can be reading down the charges. Find manslaughter and find that in self-defense.
OMG! You promised not to disclose my secret location...
This message sent from my iPad ;o)
Thank you for the info maybe we will all be arm chair Attys on the next High profile case!
if this is the case they should have had a question, they should have just convicted.
Reckless disregard for martins life is the standard. I think this will work for the jury.
Thanks.
Below are the instructions they were given:
MANSLAUGHTER
To prove the crime of Manslaughter, the State must prove the following two elements beyond a reasonable doubt:
1. Trayvon Martin is dead.
2. George Zimmerman intentionally committed an act or acts that
caused the death of Trayvon Martin.
George Zimmermancannot be guilty of manslaughter by committing a merely negligentact or if the killing was either justifiable or excusable homicide:
Each of us has a duty to act reasonably toward others. If there is a violation of that duty, without any conscious intention to harm, that violation is negligence.
The killing of a hu man being is justifiable homicide and lawful if necessarily done while resisting an attempt to murder or commit a felony upon George Zimmerman , or to commit a felony in any dwelling house in which George Zimmerman was at the time of the killing.
The kill ing of a human being is excusable, and therefore lawful, under any one of the following three circumstances:
1. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune in doing any lawful act by lawful means with usual ordinary caution and without any unlaw ful intent, or
2. When the killing occurs by accident and misfortune in the heat of passion, upon any sudden and sufficient provocation, or
3. When the killing is committed by accident and misfortune resulting from a sudden combat, if a dangerous weapon is not used and the killing is not done in a cruel or unusual manner.
DITTO. I gave up FOX NEWS , and ALL MEDIA. Get my news here.
It’s possible that the jury is just methodically going through the charges, like, you know, they’re supposed to. Anything is possible.
“Thank you for the info maybe we will all be arm chair Attys on the next High profile case!”
Only if it’s in Florida — another State and we have to re-learn.
Crump, Corey & crew just walked into courtroom.
Someone, maybe, but not necessarily "they". If it were "they", then "they" would have already had a verdict.
There's a touchy feely holdout.
the whole thing about whether manslaughter is an automatic included with murder 2...whether the def was upset about THAT...manslaughter that they hadn’t been able to prep for...or whether it was the insane child abuse thingy...
OMG you must think I’m bats&^% crazy...all I can say at this point is...
Never mind, but thanks for responding.
ROFLOL
Logically, you are correct. But a jury of six women, or any jury, is not guaranteed to follow sound reason and logic. Hope I'm wrong, but I predict a guilty verdict on manslaughter. I do think there are fertile ground for a successful appeal found in Judge Nelson's evidence rulings, however.
Wise move. Women are more easily convinced by other women.
The Weapon in the Manslaughter Charge is what makes it rough!
Discharge of firearm is clearly defined!
If Z would have used bodily force I don’t think there would have been a question.
Juries have been doing “nullification” (ignoring the law) for a long time, even before OJ.
They go off on whether they wanna give the guy a break. They play God. Jurors have gone unpunished so it is an epidemic. Violate their oath? Pfft
They may thing Manslaughter is a “break”
I wonder if the diets introduced any recent photos of Trayvon. A little matter media never bothered to tell us about, if thy even know. They just keep using his Cub Scout photo..
truly the only opinions I have listened to for 2 wks have been FRopinions...I can’t stand any of the talking heads.
If I wasn't absolutely convinced my arguments would be thrown out (I tend to reason straight from the Constitutions and then the law) I'd seriously consider becoming an attorney. As it is though we have judges (and lawmakers) who pay no heed to what the Law says, especially if that law would constrain their own power (see ObamaCare).

The jury might be wrestling with the verbage about the act being without hatred but intentional and unjustified. #Zimmermanon9
