Every single day we wake up in the city of Chicago, some child, some young adult, some African-American male has been murdered, state Rep. Monique Davis said Thursday. This is not acceptable.
Im hearing from mothers that they are afraid to go outside, she said. Hospitals are overburdened with 70 gunshot wounds in one day. Ambulances are so busy people are driving victims in their own cars.
Davis held a press conference this week to ask Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn to call in National Guard to protect our children so they can go to the park and swim and play and have a childhood. She said the governor has not responded."

That was my original suggestion if you look back at the first comment; so, I could not agree more. And I certainly agree with sealing the border.
However, I am less worried about the border with Canada where Chicago is located and more worried about our southern border with Mexico. As far as I know, drug cartels have not taken over our border with Canada. Not that I am complaining about that...

Sounds to me like you are having a “moral breakdown with nothing but anger and destruction” as you mentioned earlier.
In this case, I will rejoice with the people of Detroit if the situation there is changing for the better and I am wrong. However, no government or bank in the history of the world has solved the problem of criminal violence.
I earnestly hope that you are right and time will tell us that. In the meantime, I suggest that you learn how to debate others without making personal attacks.
I wasn’t debating, I was correcting you like one would correct a child.
