If you want to understand where Bill O’Reilly falls on the political spectrum, check where the polls and perceived public opinion is and there you will find Bill O’Reilly. He preps for his show by sticking his finger in the air and seeing which way the wind is blowing and then claim he's ALWAYS believed that way...until the wind changes direction then his opinion changes and its ALWAYS been the new way.

I's true he's no conservative; but he is too often out of step with the mainstream to be considered a follower of public opinion. I think he's sort of a RINO. He has common sense on some issues; on others, he reacts emotionally the way libs do. And, like a lib, he's not very bright. For a guy who allegedly writes books, he has always struck me as a guy who only reads the Cliff's Notes version, or the book jacket flap of any subject on which he expounds.
When Fox News first started, I thought BOR was a breath of fresh air. He was one of the few interviewers who would not let people get away with the usual spin (the spin stops here). But over time, he revealed himself to be such an arrogant dumbass that I have no use for him.
