Back when I lived in a smallish city in NM, a good friend of ours had a low-life and none too bright brother.
One day he wore a mask and robbed the local bank, writing the demand for money on a deposit slip.
Unfortunately for him, it was a personalized deposit slip from his own checkbook.
Cops were waiting for him when he got home.

Yeah, but did he get the job? s/

Thomas allegedly said: 'I didn't rob no store,' according to the news service. That tricky double-negative. I guess he is admitting he DID rob the store!

Employers can’t ask about criminal history anymore, so this shouldn’t be a problem.

This could be the start of a "stupid criminals" thread.
When I first moved to Louisiana, this idiot robbed a small bank on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain. He chose the Lake Ponchartrain Causeway as his escape route. The bridge is 24 miles long and there is no way off until you get to the south shore. The police were waiting for him when he got there.

How many milli-seconds after this story broke did Nancy Pelosi try to recruit him for her think tank?
