"the slim jim was brought up on Serinos cross when he was a pros witness. MOM brought it up that it was found in the bushes and Serino apparently labeled it a slim jim but also said it could or was part of the awning.""Ok, so it sounds as if Serino labeled it as a slim jim in his written report. Thanks. "
Funny, but I have seen pics of the condos there and never noticed an awning. Certainly not the kind of awning that would require a tool (that might be a slim jim) to raise and lower an awning, like one of those high-dollar, big awnings that are seen on RVs or mobile homes.
Has anyone else seen or noticed one there?

My thought is what they found 'like part of an awning' was part of the scissor frame of a portable awning. They are shaped like a 'slim jim' but typically a bit thicker. Being a LEO, I think he would have said it was conclusively a 'slim jim' if it was.
