I tend to agree. They’ve probably decided on a verdict and want to “sleep on it.”
The longer it goes, the less emotional the decision, I would think.
I view this, and the request for evidence, as a good sign.
Indeed, the longer deliberations go, the better chance of acquittal, I would think.
