Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

Yes it is a serious question. My point is that is only one juror is firm that it is self defense, then the acquittal will be this afternoon and no other charge will be considered. This will not end well for GZ if this goes for more than a few hours.
The bold faced words do not belong in the same sentence...
If the jury follows the law, should be 6-0 to acquit. Anything else uncorks the genie from the bottle and it is the final straw that we are no longer a nation of laws.

Everything here in Memphis is viewed through a racial lens. I would say the direction of that lens, but that would make me seem racist.

Nope, this trial was covered 24/7 in Florida at a local level on nearly every channel....Not so with the rest of the country.
If there is trouble anywhere, it will be in Florida. Compound this by the fact Orlando has some of the highest crime in the country, and is right next to the court house.
Not a good combination by any estimate.
I am sure they are ready to get the h$ll out there and go home to there families.

I tend to agree...An all female jury is not good for Mr. Zimmerman or the rule of law.

I think he dropped something behind the bushes, then went home thinking that he lost the guy. Once he felt the coast was clear, he decided to go back and get it.

I don't buy it. She had been telling him not to get into fights anymore (based on previous text messages between them), and she said he was in his Daddy's back yard and she told him to stay there. I don't think she was lying at all.
