Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

OF course not! But I am naive enough to believe that a man can still get a fair trial. I am naive enough to believe that the Pros gave off that angry creepy vibe that women hate and the MOM was the kinda man that they want for their daughters. I am naive enough to believe that a jury can and will consider evidence, law and logic as well as emotion and that they will presume innocence lacking evidence to the contrary. I still have faith!
Mother of eight? I have to admit, as a mother of five, if I was on the jury I’d be seriously tempted to drag out deliberations til I’d caught up on my backlog of sleep....

No worries, I know there are women who need directions, I get it. But also consider, there are men who don’t do squat when left on their own!

If this administration can get to the CHIEF JUSTICE of the Supreme Court for a last minute reversal of a landmark decision, no way they cannot get to at least one of six average citizen women. B29 - Hispanic/Black From Chicago for example. Any or all of the six could have been threatened, bribed, or cajoled in ways that would make us shudder.
I think the same people would think that an all male jury was dumb, because they were the only ones not smart enough to get out of jury duty, and then, if the Jury returned a NOT GUILTY verdict, would say how 'smart' they thought the all male jury was.

But long term trials over a week tend to only make government connected or liberal people availabe for the jury, so we shall see.
Wow! She could have probably out of jury duty. Could be agenda written all over it.

Of course. But then why spend all the money over at the DOJ to dole out for all that fabricated outrage? They could have quietly bought the entire jury for a fraction.
