Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

The defense fought the prosecution to keep at least two of them on the panel.
Even if Zimmerman is convicted, the appeals court will toss out the conviction. At a minimum, they would grant a retrial based on procedural errors, evident trial court judge bias, and withholding of evidence; especially the Trayvon phone records and texts.

She’s been one of the jurors who has issues making eye contact with the prosecution and supposedly nodded her head in agreement with the defense today during closing when MOM said don’t fell in the holes where no evidence exists.
Hard to imagine she all of a sudden got teary eyed over THAT lackluster rebuttal.
We’ll see. I have said from the beginning the fix is in.

According to reporter, one of jurers crying. Sounds to me hung jury is best we can hope for here.

That was exactly my thinking. However MOM's closing (the hour and a half I saw) made me think he could have possibly reached even the wackadoo. I am down for full acquittal.

remember most prosecutors claim “convictions” for any plea. Even a plea that withholds a conviction with no admission used to clear dockets.
how do you know what these women are like on the jury? why couldn’t they be “ideal freepers”? why are they different than me and how would anyone know that???
try not to jump in and tell me or anyone else about what’s personal when we’ve put up with a plethora of sweeping, blanket, idiotic insults from people that assume the jury will blow it because they’re female.
