Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

Why would it take a day to go through the evidence?
Have they not seen the evidence repeatedly?
Do they not know the law by now?
The verdict should happen today...
But then again, it’s an all female jury where emotion and sympathy will likely come into play..
After all this time one finally cries? What did he say so powerful and sad?

Do not read too much into that. Even TM’s mother has stated this was an accident. It was a terrible accident. It doesn’t mean the survivor is guilty of anything.

You are absolutely correct. The jury needs to decide if Zimmerman acted in self defense or not.
It is not in the jury’s purview to decide whether or not Z was a racist or was stalking M, or to consider anything at all that led to the point where Z had to defend himself with deadly force out of fear of bodily injury or death.
Self defense or not, period.

I have a standing date every month with 8 other women, and I assure you, we need no men to direct us how to use our time together! Might come as a shock to you, but women actually can do things without men interfering.
