It goes without saying that you shouldnt cross a grizzly. Sen. Mark Begich just learned that the hard way.
Sarah Palinformer Alaska governor, failed vice presidential candidate, and Americas most famous Mama Grizzlylaunched a bit of cyberwarfare against Begich, the Democratic senator from her home state, in a series of vitriolic Facebook posts on Thursday.
The wrath of Palin was likely incurred Wednesday when Begich told Politico that the former governor had quit on Alaska when she resigned before completing her term. He also questioned whether she was still a resident of the state.
Palin said Tuesday that she was considering a run for Senate in 2014 in an effort to unseat Begich. And if the recent war of words between the hypothetical challengers is any indication, this matchup is bound to get ugly.

Your quick! THANK YOU!
Remember the 2010 midterm election landslide? That's why. Palin didn't "quit" anything. She changed the battleground from being trapped in a governor's house to the freedom to cover the entire country. Be glad she did what she did. It was brilliant.
Why? Because of $600,000 in personal legal bills that were going to get bigger.
Read "The Art of War" Sun Tzu.
It's really quite a shame. If McCain hadn't selected her as his V.P. candidate, Palin could have worked away under the radar and no doubt built up an impressive record. After winning re-election in 2010, she could have started to lay a foundation for a campaign, and - key here - spent the proper amount of time necessary to become knowledgeable on federal/national issues. Under this scenario, she would/could have been our Reagan in 2012 and swept Obama out of office. Very sad.
What is Begich’s FR name?
Big Itch
Thank you for a clear explanation. Hope she does run and she is able through surrogates to explain that rational. Also it would serve her well politically if she can directly link the harassment to Democratic Party activists in Alaska and put them on the defensive.
In other words, the one thing that McCain did right...actually ended up screwing conservatives over.
Figures...
Pointing out his voting record is considered “vitriolic” at MSDNC.
Whatever...
“In Alaska, Palin just doesnt enjoy the same popularity she once did. A February Public Policy Polling poll showed Palin at 59 percent disapproval and a mere 34 percent approval rate among Alaska voters. That same poll found that Begich would beat Palin by 16 points in a heads-up race. Republican internal polls this spring found similar favorable/unfavorable numbers among Republican voters in the state.”

There are two possibilities:
(1) You can't or won't read, or you can't understand the arithmetic involved, or,
(2) You are being dishonest.
Stupid or evil; one or the other.
Go Sarah!!!
I started watching your link, but I’m not sure what it has to do with the matters at hand. My point was that Palin is so unpopular in her home state, that rather than running for the Senate in what is certain to be an unsuccessful outcome, maybe she should not run and give someone with an actual chance the opportunity. Sorry if I didn’t understand you point, but I just couldn’t get through your link. Maybe you could summarize it for me instead. Thanks in advance :)
Vitriolic?
If she runs and wins will not the Democrats just bury her with lawsuits again and force her to resign?
I’ve lived in Alaska over 20 years. Palin was the best Governor I’ve seen anywhere in my life. People remember how Palin cleaned things up, sent the crooked Repubs packing or off to the Big House. Alaskans remember when they were proud of state government and long for those days back in any area of Government, especially the Federal Government. I know all kinds of Alaskans that want Palin to run against Begich. Begich’s claim to fame was photo radar, and they passed a state law forever outlawing his big idear up here. Palin was ultra successful as Governor. Don’t be foolish enough to believe the media or polls; Palin is Gold in Alaska, no joke. Begich might be a good guy, never vote for gun control or UN control; but deep inside he is a lefty and is unelectable in Alaska today, after Obama. For some reason, Alaskans think Begich ain’t the brightest light bulb, he could never hang with Donny Young.
Pretty sure the state law allowing the governor to be sued personally doesn’t apply to federal Senators.
