Kind of surprises me...Det is where it all started for me (leftism vis a vis race)...but I wouldn’t be too sure...could be simmering underground...?

If there was going to be new riots in Detroit, it would have been over the Emergency Manager takeover by the state.
It was close to rioting in the early 90's with the police beating death of Malice Green, but that was local and right after Rodney King.
