Men aren't opting for "marriage" because "marriage" as a legal/social institution is dead. It doesn't exist. Libs killed it. A man couldn't get "married" in the traditional sense, at least as far as the law of the land is concerned, even if he wanted to in America. There is no marriage.

I said that libs killed it, but the truth is that libs only administered the coup de grace. Marriage was actually defined out of legal existence by "conservatives," especially the majority of couples using artificial contraception and Republicans like Governor Ronald Reagan who signed "no fault divorce" into law 45 years ago.

Writers like C.S. Lewis and Aldous Huxley saw this coming when the Anglicans allowed contraception for married couples in 1928. Pope Paul VI warned about it forty years later in 1968.

Sorry, folks, but there it is. Conservatives can't claim the moral high ground on this. Marriage is dead and conservatives, especially us Christian conservatives, killed it because we (and I include myself) didn't heed the words of our prophets.

Let's get honest here and stop blaming others for our mess.
