The jury now knows that the prosecution didn't release the tox report, and tried to keep it out. The actual report isn't that bad, it merely shows traces of pot (at least that's what we know). The jury is left to speculate, which in this case is worse for the prosecution than the actual report.
Most people don't see pot as being that unusual for a person of Skittle's age. Bringing it in would appear like a stretch, and distract from the main points of the defense.
