Bush disqualifying himself seems to be an opinion piece by Emma Karlin regarding his actions on the amnesty bill, not an actual statement by Bush that he would not seek the nomination.

It’s easy to say some three years before an election that you won’t run(unless they tear down your door and force you to save the country—Superman style).I’ll wait to see what actually happens should we have a brokered convention.

Jeb Bush will be feted by Republican mega-bundler Woody Johnson at a dinner and party for his new book this month, according to an invitation obtained by POLITICO.

The event will be held on July 23 in New York City at the home of the Jets owner, according to the invitation.

Johnson was an early bundler for Mitt Romney in 2012.

Officials with the Beach Company confirmed to WCBD that other big names such as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, TV host Oprah Winfrey and Billionaire Warren Buffet flew into the Charleston Executive airport on Johns Island Wednesday night.

Other prominent people said to also be staying there this weekend are Jeb Bush and Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
