I have hundreds of landings at SFO.
Runway 28L and 28R at SFO are parallel and very close. It is standard procedure at SFO to do ILS to the left runway, and LDA or RNAV to the right - as well as visual approaches to both because of the insufficient airspace to do parallel ILS approaches.
This is a clear case of landing short. It is not unlikely they were following the wrong glideslope (the runways are offset, so it makes it even more likely to cause a landing short of the runway).

CNN just stated that Flightaware shows a steeper glideslope for this aircraft today, than for the same flight yesterday.
