What Can You Do Now As An American Citizen?

July 1, 2013 by Bob Livingston

The first answer is to recognize and realize that the government, with all of its propaganda and police power, is at war with the American people. The fact that most Americans are totally oblivious to all-out war against their way of life, their savings and their retirement assets doesn’t change a thing.

Governments always silently make war on their own citizens behind a propaganda front so as to alert as few people as possible. The less resistance the better.

One of the fastest ways to clear the mental fog is to realize that the two-party political system is only one. Anyone clinging to the illusion will be deceived to their grave. America has become a fascist state, and the whole Congress supports the agenda of the state. Any dissent is frivolous and transparent.

We could turn the clock back toward human liberty by doing one simple thing: limiting the terms of Representatives and Senators to just one, with no pensions. Also, they should be put on Social Security and receive the same medical benefits as the American people! There should be no privilege associated with elected office. Of course, this will not happen; the entire government is infested with psychopaths who will not relinquish any of their accumulated power.

Americans are under the strain of great financial repression. Interest rates are not high enough to cover inflation, let alone provide an income for seniors. Millions of seniors are living out of their savings instead of earnings on their savings. There is no riskless way to generate income. The powerful, rich and well-connected politicians in America all use the dysfunctional political system and the money-printing central banks to their every advantage. The U.S. reckless system has created an enormous economic and political mess. The scene now reminds one of vultures flocking around a carcass. Nothing can or will be corrected now. All that anyone in power can suggest now is more money printing.

There are no financial answers, and there are no political reforms on the table; so politicians will continue to postpone meaningful reforms, which will lead us to the final crisis. More than ever, the present system is doomed. It is only a matter of recognizing what is happening and making preparations to survive.

I am still accumulating silver coins, as I believe that they will have high exchange and barter value in the near months to come. I sincerely hope that all of you will do the same. That the price has been manipulated down is fortuitous.

I fear that investors and savers may no longer have access to their accounts and funds during the ultimate crash. Look at what happened in Cyprus, for example, where bank accounts were frozen for a week. If this happens, silver coins dated before 1964 will look awfully good in your possession.

Also, my friends, please don’t be surprised if the government implements measures of some form of increased financial repression or expropriation. Many people will wind up much poorer than they are now. I am sorry to give you this sad information, but my vast reading and study confirms it. And if you cover the amount of material that I do, you will be on the same page.

There is a better day coming if the good people prevail and seize power after the crash. There are now millions of people who know the critical situation in America and understand that America has been sold out and hollowed out and that what is left is an impoverished people and economic depression.

The U.S. authorities know full well the shock potential of the social order in the United States. They are buying time with food stamps and all sorts of cash payments.

Psychopathy

I mentioned above and have said before that the U.S. government is run by and inhabited by psychopaths. Psychopathy by definition is a personality disorder characterized by shallow emotions with reduced fear and lack of empathy. Also, psychopaths exhibit coldheartedness, egocentricity, superficial charm and criminality. They are manipulative, irresponsible and impulsive. They are antisocial, they lack remorse, and they are attracted to a parasitic lifestyle.

We think that most Representatives and Senators are psychopaths. Lawyers are the second most psychopathic profession. Most Representatives and Senators are lawyers.

Governments attract psychopaths because these people have tremendous greed and they see government as a means of free riches and aggrandizement.

No matter how much they steal or how many evil laws they pass, they believe that they do good and that they have “clean hands.” They have every opportunity for corruption. They believe that their constituency is a milk cow to use and abuse.

If placed before a firing squad, they would profess no wrongdoing but their own persecution. These government politicians are depraved. But they don’t know that they are psychopaths.

KEYWORDS:
A few years ago this would be dismissed as the rantings of an eccentric. Much of it is still seen as foilhat. However, many now have suspicions that some of this is happening and that the weight of inertia in the direction the US government is moving is towards a state that regards us as subject and not citizens. Police departments routinely behave this way as they have become 'law enforcement', i.e. rule enforcement monitors rather than 'peace enforcement' officers. The transformation of the officer corps in the armed forces from 'officers and gentlemen' to managerialist careerists started by Robert McNamara has now reached critical state and the parade of high ranking officers whose allegiance is clearly to who issues their paychecks and not to the constitution is significant.

Finally the authors comments on the psychopathology of the political process are the most interesting element in this essay. After a long working life at a level that was beneath having any power but high enough to view those with command or political power I can state some of this is definitely true. A larger issue left undiscussed almost by all is that government is a magnet for people who seek psychological compensation in it for thier felt inadequacies. A very good example is John McCain. A man who has never found a dubious battle that he didn't want to involve the US in it. McCain sought a career in politics, I believe, to make up for what he deeply feels are his failings as a person and perhaps some failing as a POW. He is one of many in DC and by no means even near the most florid of these compensation seeking persons. Others seek some sort of revenge on society for their personal unhappiness and dysfunction. Finally there is the process of moral and ethical corruption that is inherent in the DC political culture. I recall a lobbyist decades ago saying that it took a man of great moral strength to function in DC without being corrupted by the process. There are rather few who meet that bill and can say 'No' at the appropriate time knowing the consequences that may result.

I don't endorse all Livingston says but this should be read to ponder what our government is becoming and what it wants us to become.

“Men who look upon themselves born to reign, and others to obey, soon grow insolent; selected from the rest of mankind their minds are early poisoned by importance; and the world they act in differs so materially from the world at large, that they have but little opportunity of knowing its true interests, and when they succeed to the government are frequently the most ignorant and unfit of any throughout the dominions.” — Thomas Paine

Question:What Can You Do Now As An American Citizen?

Response: Arm yourselves. For urban folk reacquaint yourself with your neighbors and all learn that an attack on one is an attack on all. Become a PEOPLE again, be more that a mere demographic.

Apparently Mr. Paine discovered the Peter Principle long before Dr. Peter.

+1 Depraved Cynicism

Funny how it fits my current mood. I’ve been into the dystopia genre lately.

The War on Poverty.

The War on Drugs.

The War on Terror.

All these were merely a ruse, various components of the final solution:

The War on Citizens.

“The issue is never the real issue: the real issue is always The Revolution. The cause is never the real cause: the real cause is always the acquisition of power.” (unknown 60s radical, quoted by David Horowitz)

The only thing left is to get our armed forces to go 1776 on the regime, like they did in Egypt.

A friend at work has a bumper sticker that reads,

“It’s not right vs left. It’s the state vs the people.”

Great quote from the Frank Underwood character in “House of Cards”:

“Such a waste of talent. He chose money over power, in this town a mistake nearly everyone makes. Money is the McMansion in Sarasota that starts falling apart after ten years, power is the old stone building that stands for centuries. I can not respect someone who does not see the difference.”

Robert Burns said it like this (I’ve Americanized it):

I’ll not say men are villains all
The real, hardened, wicked
Which have no check but human law
Are to a few restricted
But oh mankind are very weak
And little to be trusted
If self the wavering balance shake
It’s rarely right adjusted!

The study of the rise and fall of civilizations is a fascinating one. Much of the above analysis is obviously true of America. Corruption is rampant among politicians, the media, our educational system (top to bottom), the mainstream religious community and of course, the entertainment industry. They are self-serving, hedonistic and sometimes openly anti-American destroyers of our culture.

Now we have to ask ourselves, are we at the point in our decline where the rot has tarnished the general population.

There should have been massive protests from every outrageous Supreme Court decision, going all the way back to “pornography is free speech.” Parents have meekly allowed their local educational systems to be turned into organs of propaganda. Voting fraud doesn’t even ruffle our feathers.

The saddest and the worst is the deterioration of family life.

>>“It’s not right vs left. It’s the state vs the people.”<<

It's a hard pill to swallow, but unfortunately true to the core.

We sit by and watch as our so called leaders spend us into national suicide. Just gotta ask yourselves....why?

Why would they do this? For what purpose could all this serve?

Some of this is intentional, some congressman go along to get along, some just have no clue as to economics and are as dumb as earth biscuits. In either case, decades of financial mismanagement, corruption, political party before the health of the nation.

Some day Americans will be angry enough to rise up and when this happens, those who wrecked our country should head for the hills.

Juss my lil ol pinion.

If I could meet and spend an hour with any of our Founding Fathers I might have to choose Thomas Paine. Like a number of his peers his clarity of mind was razor sharp but he had a way of cutting to the bottom line like no other.
