Canning peppers this year?
Rain caught me before I got my long season spuds out. We might be dry by Monday when I can try again.
I’ll can what peppers I can as time allows, cayenne are always in demand. The rest I dehydrate and the lion’s share I grind with fresh roasted cumin (and various other secret ingredients) for Drumbo’s famous 6 alarm chili powder. It takes a mess of mixed peppers to make it, but the results are yummy and the nicest spices in West by God Virginia or east of Texas for that matter.
