Today, July 5th, is DAY #19 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
The State is expected to wrap up their case today – A great recap of the trial so far is available HERE: The key witness today expected to be Sybrina Fulton, mom.
Great Expectations? Remember, as y’all have noted during the 15+ months of research, there is so much corruption in the assembly of this case we could expect the State to avoid the traditional witnesses brought by normal prosecutions. We have not been disappointed in our predictions. The state has already won a pre-trial motion to bar the defense mentioning the absence of any witness from the State’s case.
So it comes as no surprise, not a single State investigator has been called, not a single FBI officer, only one local investigative detective, Chris Serino (who supported the defense), and now the profound possibility they won’t even present the Seminole County Medical Examiner. So has the State actually even proven that Trayvon is indeed, deceased? Without the M.E. the ballistics are essentially moot – where did the aforementioned bullet come from? They have not established it came from Trayvon’s body. Think about it.
Because of pre-trial ‘motions in limine’ to exclude the defense bringing it up, O’Mara cannot mention it. Would/Will the jurors notice a missing M.E. = Trayvon blood tox. etc?

Court is finding it is not impeachment. Judge wants a 15 min. recess, the lock on the evidence room needs fixin’ #Zimmerman
I think it’s reversible error because the paucity of state’s evidence and the burden of proof. I’d have to dig through my pile of related precedents where a guilty verdict was reversed because the judge should have granted a motion for judgment of acquittal, but I know that happens, and based on paucity of evidence. There being no way a jury could apply the evidence to the instructions, and conclude guilt.
That’s my take exactly. Let’s hope the jury sees it that clearly too.
Off topic but our entrance into Heaven is not based on how good we are. So St T’s mom can make that assertion.

Something about an item in evidence, probably clothing or the pin/button that Martin wore, that the state wants to question Sybrina about.
If they can’t find the key, how can any evidence in the locker still be considered tamper free?
I agree....he didn’t say ‘NO’ then ‘Yes’. I don’t think MoM is doing any good to pursue it at this point, unless he has something better in mind...

I don’t know. Her concern seems more superficial. I can’t explain... The other day, she was glancing at the camera when addressing one of the lawyers like a female does when trying to get at the most flattering angle for a camera.
I’m sorry, I’m trying to finish some courses on body language/deception detection etc...I’m trying to complete the highest level of all specialties and this case is giving me great real world practice. I have already completely the main courses just wanting to tweak my skills and sharpen myself. I share my interpretations here because I would drive hubby nuts with it... So, FR is a good sounding board AND there is no shortage of Freepers who’ll tell me I’ve lost my mind, lol or gotten something wrong.

Not buying it - he needs to define “turning point”, then be held accountable later for his comments.
Am I supposed to buy that, either MOM questioning her OR her saying TM is in heaven, will cause the jury to convict Zimmerman, even if they were of a mind to either aquit or split and hang??

No kidding! All I’m hearing is what a well spoken woman she is and how TM couldn’t be a rebel as he was raised by such a fine woman! Where do they pull this garbage? She didn’t raise him!
