Look....if she rules for Mark, no skin off her butt. But rule against case law...and she is sooooo screwed.
Florida's self-defense laws stipulate that when a person is found to have acted in self defense, he is immune from any civil suit. This is why it's important to Crump and Trayvon's parents that Zimmerman is found guilty on SOMETHING.

Mom’s presentation will be cited case law...he is defining law pluperfect in this case and the Judge’s angst is that very point.....she is now compare and contrast as to LAW not opinion or racism

no, judges deny these motions because they don’t want to make the hard choice. The jury gets this case because the law mandates the judge rule for the defense. With the jury, they may still convict by supporting the judge’s bias.

That’s what I’m seeing, too.
I suppose it *could* be just an act though.
I don’t know what judges think about being overturned on appeal. I have to believe it bothers them, so they’d like not to rule capriciously and bring it on.
But what do I know.

Ok. Time to fess up. When this trial is over....I’m going to feel like I do after I finish a VERY good book. Let down, disappointed and wishing I could erase memory and read it again.
