Even "told not to follow" is stronger than Sean, the dispatcher, would have you take the suggestion. The words were "We don;t need you to do that." Sean testified that dispatchers avoid giving direct orders, because doing so exposes the town to liability.

Just the same, Zimmerman followed the suggestion.

And to this very day, you can find press accounts (I think CNN has this up, today), that claim as fact "Zimmerman got out of his truck after he was told not to."

Onyx, that is not correct. He was told; "We don't NEED you to follow him" He was never commanded NOT to follow.
