After sidebar, jury sent out. Not dismissed. Judge reading transcript. MOM was questioning specifically self defense and getting good answers. Pros finally objected.

I suspect the prosecution objected because the questions went to the ultimate issue in the case, i.e. whether Zimmerman acted in self defense. Asking the cop if he thought there was a basis for self defense is an opinion on the issue that the jury has to decide. The cop's opinion is not relevant. The jury has to make its own decision.
