Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

can’t wait to see how Dad decided to change his mind about Trayvon’s voice.
spacejunkie2001 to Fawn
completely idiotic statement.
~~
I know exactly what you mean!
Judge needs to be removed. That last objection as most have been, was bogus as West simply summarized what was already testified to.
Hmmm...that is an EXCELLENT POINT!
I agree...she is blatantly biased. I think she’s getting on West’s last nerve....LOL
Dean, a screamer, would be about as much help to the prosecution as Nakasone has been.
The upside is, if GZ is found guilty, the sea of appeals will be abundant with fish.
I love that stunned look West has every time the Judge overrules him and sustains the state’s objections. He’s not even believing her bias himself.
Pretty telling when a judge shows such bias on national TV. Maybe she’s planning on getting a recommendation and cushy WH job after this trial is over.
Best relative to what. Is there reasonable doubt as to familiarity and reasonable doubt as to best? All the audio evidence should be thrown out.
So, I’m hoping when they call Treyvons parents on the stand to swear that it Treyvon, the judge will allow Zimmermans wife and parents do that same? I will not be surprised if she doesn’t allow it.
Objection.......Overruled......lol
Also interesting how, if it was Trayvon screaming for help, he not only was seen on top pummeling Z, but he had no injuries whatsoever, other than on his knuckles and the gunshot wound. So what would T have been screaming about?
Logic would dictate the obvious conclusion here. Too bad most on the left (probably including some of the jury) have no logical abilities.
“Why is this jamoke testifying? I though they werent going to allow voice analysis?”
The prosecution wanted their “voice analysis experts” to testfy to say the voice is definitely TM’s. It sounds like this witness is saying that it cannot be determined who’s voice it is for sure.
If you listen to the recording, it sounds like it belongs to a young person. The prosecution, of course, wants it to be TM. That’s why he’s saying you can’t tell what age it is for sure.
Strange though, that when TM’s father heard it, he said it was NOT TM’s voice. Once their attorney Crump got involved, he changed his mind and said it’s TM.
whose voice
As we listen to this, folks, Sybrina and Tracey are in the front row listening carefully for the purpose of tailoring their upcoming testimony.
Surely the jury has to be catching on to this —
What was the objection? If it did not cite a specific rule it would not be sustained. (no more perry mason speaking objections)
Perhaps we need a list of evidence objections:
lack of foundation.
compound question.
immpermissible leading.
speculation.
heresay (not a specific exception)
irrelevant.
etc.
That’s the plan. Plus his brother who can testify to a more similar cry during actual experience
[Wonder what happened to Tray’s father’s girlfriend???]
A question I asked my self last night. Here is what I found.
Trayvon Martin Who is Brandy Green, really?
http://radionewz.net/2012/07/trayvon-martin-who-is-brandy-green-really/
[following text is snippets from this source]
I have so many questions about Tracys relationship with Brandy Green. For one thing, they are both married.
Tracy Martin is married to Alicia Stanton Martin. No divorce on record. According to Alicia, they separated just a few weeks prior to Trayvons death.
I have even more questions about why Tracy Martin and Brandy Green said Trayvon had been to the community many times, yet no one at the community knows him. Sure, there was an article claiming the kids at The Retreat at Twin Lakes liked playing football with Trayvon, but which kids? Why didnt they know who the young black man was lying dead in their courtyard on February 26, 2012? Why didnt Tracy know the address?
In order to answer some of these questions, I did a bit of digging. I found someone does, or did live with Brandy, her sister. This information was not too hard to find in public records.
Who is Zakiya Laurent Richardson?
Shes a member of Marium 549 - the female chapter of black masons in Orlando, as is Brandy Green.
Zakiyas last name is Richardson now Im not sure if that is her maiden name or married name. I found a high-school mention of Zakiya Richardson. Zakiya has a criminal record under both names:
CHARGE: PETIT THEFT
ATTEMPT MARIJ TRAFF OVER 25LBS UP TO $2,000.LBS-0R 300 PLANT
MARIJ POSS W/INTENT TO SELL MFG OR DELIV
Also, Tabatha Green, a friend on Zakiyas change.org page, has a daughter named Dee Dee. Coincidence, Im sure.
>> Floridas stand your ground law has tort immunity.
If I understand correctly, the FL “stand your ground” law (and doctrine) have zero applicability in this case, because they’re defending it under the self defense exception for a murder/manslaughter charge.
So I’m not sure there is anything to preclude a civil suit.
Whether they could *win* that suit is a totally separate question.
