Ann Coulter, who had been one of Gov. Chris Christie's biggest cheerleaders, is a fan no more. She tweeted on Thursday that Christie is "dead" to her after Sen. Jeffrey Chiesa (R-NJ), the Senator whom Christie appointed after the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), voted to end debate on the Immigration Reform Bill.

Well, he’s a newbie, so Rinubio................
And when will we hear Rush, Hannity and Levin say “Rubio is dead to me”?
I have no problem Christie with you being on guard against Ann, and in fact, I encourage it: BUT you have a history of absurd assumptions about the careers and motivations of those who are media stars. You have a history of thinking they are subject to forces that they are clearly above in the pecking order.
Ann is not a Republican operative. She is a media star who gets 25 thou per speech and whose books hit NYT best seller status almost upon publication. She is way above the status of GOP operative. Now, she may agree with operatives on many occasions, but that’s a different issue. And you may be on guard against her, which is fine, but you are just way off base about the driving factors.
That’s your right. It’s my right to call you out on it. It’s your right to then believe me or not.
....maybe when Rubio whiffs on issue after issue after issue for four years......like Christie has.
Well, he’s not actually dead— he’s just pining for the foods.
Finally! Welcome back.
Lee Rodgers, a conservative talk show host on KSFO in the Bay Area, would always admonish his audience with “Never fall in love with a politician, they’ll break your heart every time.”
He died earlier this year.

I sure hope they catch on sooner than that!
what you said, cracka!
I disagree with Ann at times but she is a BRILLIANT WRITER AND SPEAKER ON OUR SIDE
You certainly nailed that one!
No, only perfect folks like you are that smart.......
I don’t ask for your approval of what I can/should think or a right to come to any conclusions. She never would have reached the level of this fame without her career beginning as an political operative (not only to the buyers of those books). I have to go back to work... may your boredom find a new location; possibly to a direction of another poster to scold.
And I didn’t ask for your approval to give my approval (I just made fun of you...did you get it?) It’s called a message board or a political forum. Google it and find out how they work.
Enjoy your insane jealousy.....
Yes, welcome back Ann. Maybe we can all sign something, that welcomes her back.
We all know that despite the shortcomigs we all had of Romney, he would have made a good president. Newt too.
But, I must tell you that I have this feeling that it is preordained that this country needs to hit bottom before it comes back up again.
I’m feeling the same way, much worse actually, than I did when Carter was in power. As a nation we were demoralized, embarrassed. Products we were making were shoddy with no quality. You bought a car, motorcycle, guitar etc
American made in the 70s and it was pure junk. Inflation running rampant. People selling silver dollars like mad.
I wanted Reagan in office in 1976. He was twice the man he was in 1980, but at least we got 4 to 6 good years with him. And he had good people around him.
Reagan came in office and it was like lifting all of us up. In short order we were proud to be Americans...We opened up trade and became competitive again.
We should have one the WH had things been fair. We know now that they weren’t.
Things must hit rock bottom until people throw these leftist out of here.
Anyway...Welcome back Ann!!!!!
One of the reasons the Republican Party is moribund is the RNC's almost total lack of strategic planning and long-term commitment to developing candidates, grooming them for many years, and supporting them with vigorous PR whenever they are attacked -- just as they should have done for George Bush, since he was so completely reluctant ever to defend himself when attacked. For example, they should have had political talk show guests and a basement full of twitterers climbing all over the "bigoted" response at Johns Hopkins University recently when it allowed its leftie students to reject Ben Carson as commencement speaker. RNC needs reams of talking points, workshops to educate every GOP candidate and activist in the first principles of republicanism and federalism, and they need to take responsibility for their utter failures to stay organized. Their decision to trash Palin instead of finding ways to use her strengths and keep her in the circle -- even if they would have had to tell Romney's people to STFU -- was disastrous. They need to vet every person who gains power in the National Committee and make sure they are fighting the same war with the same enemies, and avoid the friendly fire casualties on our side.
Not since Reagan has any GOP leader understood the dangers of shooting into the circle, as the last election's disastrous primary debates illustrated. All the angry little GOPs took turns trying to destroy each other's campaigns while the Dems laughed.
The “Cruz 2016” in her tweet was a nice touch as well.
Cruz or Rand Paul for me.
Life and guns we agree on.
Solidify a stance behind private property Rights and the illegals jumping the border becomes more of an issue of keeping ranchers along the border well stocked with ammo. Especially once the “freebie” tap is turned off on tuition, housing, welfare, etc...
Giving amnesty to the criminals already here is just rewarding lawless behavior. Any politician pushing such an amnesty needs to be deported along with their illegal constituents/lobbyists.
bump!
Why did it take Ann so long to catch on to what we already knew?
